Couscous Cake
Ingredients for 4-5 servings
4.5 cups of natural apple juice
1-2 tablespoon of maltex
a pinch of sea salt
1.5 cups of couscous
1/2 cup of ground roasted hazelnuts
1 cup of berries (or strawberries)
3-4 tsp of kuzu powder (used as a thickener, can also be used cornstarch)
Preparation:
Boil 4 cups of apple juice (half a cup left for the dressing), with a spoon of maltex and a few grains of sea salt. Add 1.5 cup of couscous and ½ cup of ground hazelnuts. When the mixture boils again, cook for 5 minutes while stirring. Spread the mixture on a small square baking pan that the cake is about 5 cm thick. Allow cake to cool, then transfer it in the fridge to hardens. Mix fruit with remaining half cup of apple juice, and spoon of maltex. Boil and stir for about 1 minute. Add to the obtained syrup the kuzu powder, previously dissolved in 2-3 tablespoons of cold apple juice. Cook about 3 minutes, allow to cool briefly and then pour the sauce over the chilled base of couscous and return to refrigerator. If you like the combination of warm and cool, prepare the topping only when the basis for the cake is cool and tighten. Cut the cake into cubes, and pour the hot sauce. Decorate with fruit that you used for the sauce.
Gluten Free Salad
If you are not allowed to consume food that contains gluten here is a recipe that is gluten free, and at the same time vegan. You will need: 7-8 small potatoes, cooked and cut into 3-4 pieces, ½ of chopped onion, 2 stalks of chopped celery, 2 cups of peas, 2 chopped stalks of leeks, 2 chopped leaves of kale, 3 tablespoons of olive oil, half teaspoon of salt, ¾ teaspoon of ground pepper.
Preparation:
Cook the potatoes but do not overdo it, they should not be so soft that they fall apart. Before being cut into pieces, allow to cool. Then, add all other ingredients in large bowl and stir. This is an excellent and nutritious meal which does not contain gluten or any ingredient of animal origin.
Recipe for Apple Cider Vinegar
As it is well known, apple cider vinegar is highly appreciated and used for many diseases. It is known that has diuretic property so it is used to remove excess water from the body. Therefore, apple vinegar is recommended for people who have kidney and urinary problems, as well as problems with heart and blood vessels, accompanied by the appearance of the swelling. Apple vinegar allows better drainage of toxins that accumulate in the body. Heart patients and those with high blood pressure use apple vinegar because it reduces blood viscosity, and hence reduces the workload of the heart.
Also, cider vinegar is an effective means to treat diarrhea. It can also help in some cases of sterility, and is recommended in diets. A teaspoon of apple vinegar in a glass of water three times daily can help to lose the excess pounds. Cider vinegar is also used externally as a compress to treat varicose veins, inflammation of joints and rheumatism. Also, rubbing the body with diluted apple vinegar removes fatigue, and it is a good preparation for the removal of dandruff.

We are in the time of preparation for Christmas. Cookies are excellent as a present for someone, but also we can enjoy in their taste during long and beautiful winter evenings. Here is a recipe how to easily prepare these gorgeous edible Christmas trees:
Ingredients
250 gr. of butter
1 / 2 cup (2, 5 dl) powdered sugar
1 / 2 cup ground hazelnuts
1 vanilla sugar
2 glasses of flour
Frosting
200 gr. of chocolate
3 tablespoons of oil
teaspoon of butter
Cake With Cheese and Oranges
Preparation time (min.): 150 min
Number of Calories: 433 cal
Fat: 27 g
Carbohydrates: 41 g
Protein: 7 g
Ingredients for 12 people:
1 large orange with a thinner crust
1 cup of sugar
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
100 g crumbled crackers (preferably graham crackers)
3 tablespoons of melted butter
250 g cream cheese
3 /4 cup of sugar
4 eggs
2 tablespoons of flour
100 ml sour cream
1 tablespoon of orange flavored liqueur (such as Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
3 tablespoons of orange juice
Preparation:
-Firstly slice the orange into thin slices and cleanup of the kernel. Pour 150 ml of water at a deeper pan, add a cup of sugar and lemon juice and place over medium strong fire. While the sugar is melting, add orange slices and cook covered for 5 minutes. Remove the cover and cook on low heat for another 15-20 minutes with the addition of a little water if necessary ( approximately 100 ml of liquid should remain for later). Allow to cool.
-Secondly preheat the oven to 150 degrees Celsius. Mix crackers and butter and arrange it in a round mold for baking with edges that can be removed.
-Then mix the cheese and sugar in a larger bowl . Add one egg at a time and mix. Add flour, cream and liqueur and mix. Pour into a mold.
-Bake in the oven for 60-70 minutes. Cool down and then refrigerate.
-Remove the edge of the mold and arrange oranges on the top of the cake.
-Finally heat the remaining liquid from oranges and and mix with orange juice. Cool slightly and brush over the cake.
