4.5 cups of natural apple juice<br />

1.5 cups of couscous<br />
1/2 cup of ground roasted hazelnuts<br />
1 cup of berries (or strawberries)<br />
3-4 tsp of kuzu powder (used as a thickener, can also be used cornstarch)</p>
<p>Preparation:<br />
Boil 4 cups of apple juice (half a cup left for the dressing), with a spoon of maltex and a few grains of sea salt. Add 1.5 cup of couscous and ½ cup of ground hazelnuts. When the mixture boils again, cook for 5 minutes while stirring. Spread the mixture on a small square baking pan that the cake is about 5 cm thick. Allow cake to cool, then transfer it in the fridge to hardens. Mix fruit with remaining half cup of apple juice, and spoon of maltex. Boil and stir for about 1 minute. Add to the obtained syrup the kuzu powder, previously dissolved in 2-3 tablespoons of cold apple juice. Cook about 3 minutes, allow to cool briefly and then pour the sauce over the chilled base of couscous and return to refrigerator. If you like the combination of warm and cool, prepare the topping only when the basis for the cake is cool and tighten. Cut the cake into cubes, and pour the hot sauce. Decorate with fruit that you used for the sauce.</p>

It is vital for the health of every cell in our organism. Cholesterol helps the liver to digest fat and together with protein and lecithin affects the transport of fat through our blood. It makes a part of sex hormones  and is important in maintaining the moisture of the skin. The proof how cholesterol is important for our organism is that if there is a lack of cholesterol from food, the liver produces it itself.<br />
Cholesterol is normally found in the cells, and only a small amount in blood. However, when its level rises in blood, it becomes harmful to health, contributes to the development of atherosclerosis and formation of deposits on blood vessels, clogged arteries and heart load. But cholesterol is not the only cause of clogging of arteries. Harmful role in it can have triglycerides and lipoproteins.<br />
Triglycerides are fats or fatty molecules that are formed in the liver from the fats we eat. In women who are often exposed to high triglycerides, the level should be somewhat lower than in men. People whose level ranges between 250 and 500mg/100ml are highly exposed to the risk of heart disease.<br />
Lipoproteins are composed of fat and protein. There are two types: high density lipoproteins (HDL) and low density lipoproteins (LDL). HDL cholesterol contains much phospholipids and cardiologists consider it as good for blood pressure because reduce the chance of heart disease. LDL cholesterol contains large amounts of cholesterol which tends to attach to artery walls and form plaque.  So LDL increases the risk of atherosclerosis and risk of heart diseases.</p>
<p>How to maintain body fat in normal levels?</p>
<p>The most important approach to reducing cholesterol is a healthy diet and lifestyle. Using a healthy diet with low saturated fat, with more plant foods (grains, fruits, vegetables and legumes) reduces the risk of heart disease and blood vessels. But the problem can still exists, because avoiding eggs, meat, milk and dairy products do not necessarily corrects high blood cholesterol levels. The body may respond to a sharp reduction of cholesterol so that it will produce cholesterol. It can produce up to 1500 mg of cholesterol per day, six times more than what we normally eat.<br />
It is interesting to note that some ethnic groups such as the Masai in Africa and the Eskimos have a diet with high cholesterol, yet they have low serum cholesterol, so you have to take into consideration other factors. Some of these factors are genetic, then the nutritional status, stress, exercise, movement, age.</p>
<p>Nutrition</p>
<p>Add to your diet fiber, rather than completely eliminate foods high in cholesterol. <span id="more-836"></span>Pectin that is found in apples is good for more rapid elimination of cholesterol from the body. Also, cereals such as oats, barley, millet cereal or buckwheat are good in elimination of cholesterol. If you add apples to these cereals, the effects are even better.<br />
Another interesting finding is that small amounts of polyunsaturated fats may reduce cholesterol levels by 5-10%. Especially good is Linoleic acid, which can be found in cold pressed oils, fish (no shellfish), nuts, seeds and peanut butter.<br />
Foods rich in vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) are also recommended. Include in the diet many raw vegetables and fruits, green leafy vegetables, soy and soy products, such as soy milk, tofu, tempeh.<br />
The following foods are recommended for lowering cholesterol levels to 30%:<br />
-Bananas, garlic, onion, peas, yogurt, cooked potatoes, sweet corn, olive oil, sunflower and other cold-pressed oils, oat cereal, beans, lettuce, carrots, plums&#8230;</p>

Refined foods should be replaced with complex carbohydrates-integral grains, fruits and vegetables.<br />
Many drugs, including steroids and contraceptives can increase cholesterol and triglyceride. Excess amounts of protein and processed foods can also destroy nutrients that control cholesterol.<br />
Finally, another factor that raises cholesterol is stress, which is one reason why it is so important to avoid stress.</p>

<p>In the modern living environment there are many factors that can affect the expression of our genes, since the sum of what we eat, drink, breathe, think and practice &#8211; can overcome our genetic material.</p>
<p>Many years of scientific research has shown that food is not only the source of calories, and it is not just medicine. Food is an <strong>effective weapon in the fight against aging</strong> because it has a great influence on the hormone, the anti-aging key is the communication between hormones. For these reasons, diet with limited calorie intake is the foundation of anti-aging.<span id="more-838"></span></p>
<p>The next step that will contribute to the fight against aging is moderate but consistent <strong>exercise</strong>. Only permanent physical and mental activity provides a long and productive life. Inactivity implies a weak heart, brittle bones, obesity, depression and premature aging.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It seems that the easiest way to gain beautiful tan is through sunbathing is solarium. It is one of the most polemical methods of improving the external appearance, however, it is still one of the most used.</p>
<p><strong>What is tan?</strong><br />
Tan is the first response of the body&#8217;s  protection system against UV rays. Then the skin generate more pigment which absorbs the  radiation of the sun, and that process represents a barrier to their deeper entrance.</p>
<p>We we talk about tanning, it involves two distant stages: immediate pigmentation and delayed pigmentation. The first type of  pigmentation is caused by UVA radiation and involve photo-oxidation of preformed melanin. The second type, delayed pigmentation, occurs 2 days after exposure to UVA or UVB radiation. It is associated with the production of new melanin.<span id="more-297"></span></p>
<p><strong>There are three types of ultraviolet rays:</strong><br />
* UVA (long wave-length ) are responsible for immediate tanning. They have carcinogenic potential in case of constant exposure.<br />
* UVB (medium wave length) are somewhat filtered by the ozone layer and produce late tan (sustainable). At extended and unprotected exposure cause burns and involve the risk of skin cancer.<br />
* UVC (short wave length)  are for the most part filtered by the ozone layer.</p>

<p><strong>What is tanning?</strong><br />
The solarium is an instrument that diffuse concentrated UVA and in smaller amounts UVB. After several sessions, the skin gets the desired shade of tan, but the speed of that depends on skin colour and how quickly it reacts to ultraviolet rays.</p>
<p>Even if the exposure is controlled, it is not completely without any risk.</p>
<p>Some <strong>side effects</strong> can occur. They may include:<br />
* <strong>Itchy irritation</strong><br />
* <strong>Burns</strong><br />
* Dehydration of the skin<br />
* Eye Injuries (if special goggles are not used)<br />
* Skin cancer</p>
<p>People who first visit a solarium early in adolescence period or who have frequent or long sessions have a 70% higher risk of developing malignant melanoma.</p>
<p><strong>What are the contraindications to use the solarium?</strong><br />
- History of skin cancer<br />
- Individuals with very white skin<br />
- People with many pigmented moles  have a higher risk of developing skin cancer<br />
- Allergy to the sun<br />
- Some diseases that are aggravated by exposure to the sun (lupus erythematosus, cardiovascular disease)<br />
- Treatment with photosensitising medicines(NSAIDs &#8211; ibuprofen, some anti-hypertensive, some oral and some antifungal agents)<br />
- Pregnancy &#8211; the permission is strictly necessary.</p>

<p>Crystallization is a natural characteristic of honey. The tendency towards crystallization depends on the ratio of grape and fruit sugars in honey, temperatures and humidity. The crystallized honey can become again liquid by heating. This can be done by immersing the bowl with honey in a vessel with hot water, but the water temperature should not exceed 55 degrees of Celsius, because then the honey loses the vitamins. Natural honey leaks as a fine continuous thread.</p>

-Honey has to be kept for long time in the mouth until it melts, because the medicinal substances in contact with the tongue glands quickly and unchanged enter the blood and body.<span id="more-803"></span><br />
- In case of constipation, honey is taken dissolved in cold water.<br />
- Honey dissolved in warm water helps in cases of diarrhea.<br />
- In cases of increased gastric acid, consume honey  1 to 2 hours before eating.<br />
- Against the cold, take a tablespoon of linden honey dissolved in a cup of warm milk (morning and evening).<br />
-Pomegranate tea with honey is effective in cases of kidney and urinary tract infections.<br />
- Acacia honey with chamomile tea can mitigate insomnia and dizziness.<br />
-Honey is not recommended for diabetics.</p>
<p><strong>Propolis Drops</strong><br />
Propolis as a natural antibiotic and is widely used in the care and treatment of infections, treatment of wounds and eczema, skin diseases, burns, inflammation of the bronchi, and strengthening the defense capabilities of the organism. In the treatment of respiratory problems, put 15 to 20 drops of tincture into milk or chamomile tea and drink 3 times daily before meals. Drops can be placed on a sugar cube or teaspoon of honey. Children take up to 5 drops. For inhalation put 20 drops of tincture  in 2 dl hot water or chamomile tea, and then inhale vapor.</p>
<p><strong>Honey with floral powder (pollen)</strong><br />
It is recommended in cases of chronic inflammation of the liver, stomach ulcer and duodenal ulcer, prostate disorders, atherosclerosis, depression, anemia and for general immunity. It is highly recommended for people who are taking large amounts of antibiotics. Take one teaspoon of  this mixture 3 times daily before meals.</p>
<p><strong>Honey, pollen and wheat germ</strong><br />
Recommended for chronic intestinal diseases, stomach disorders and as a regulator of digestion.</p>
<p><strong>Honey and royal jelly</strong><br />
In addition to the many ingredients contained in honey, royal jelly is rich in proteins, amino acids, vitamins A, B, C. This mixture is proved very effective in cases of:  weakness, exhaustion, senility, eating disorders, heart disease, insomnia, psychological disorders, neurosis, premature aging. Also, it improves circulation, accelerates the regeneration of lost energy in physical and mental effort, and maintains the general vitality of the organism. It is taken 3 times daily before meals.</p>
<p>Warning: for the consumption of royal jelly use only plastic or wooden spoons. Metal spoons should be strictly avoided.</p>
