Energy Balance

Proper nutrition is essential for the energy balance of the body. The knowledge about the ingredients that we use requires some time and reading the information on the  package of a product. One of the ways to keep  the balance of you diet under control is to study the daily calorie intake (GDA). A balanced diet can not always be achieved in one meal but it do can in the daily or weekly period.

Energy value of foods is shown through kilocalories (kcal), and in sometimes  in kilojoule (kJ) and the GDA system is based on them. It is useful to know that one kcal  is same as 4.2 kJ.

Choose Foods by Color

Depending on the color of food, we get energy from it, strengthen the immune system, calms the body or balance our pH. Color indicates the level of  nutrients such as carotenoids (yellow and red), flavonoids (red and purple), antioxidants (bright colors) .. The best diet combines a variety of colors, because then the body gets all the necessary nutrients.

Purple for intuition
Purple is the color of spirituality and intuition. Improving the function of the pineal gland, can help to sharpen intuition. This food has a beneficial effect on the nervous system-eg. nasunin,  fitonutrient from eggplant protects  the membrane of the brain cells, and resveratrol, for example, from grapes, reduces the production of estrogen  and gladdens the heart. If you choose purple, choose eggplant, plums, blackberries, grapes..
